Pinot Gris

Pinot Gris is known as Pinot Grigio in Italy. Pinot Gris is originally a Burgandian grape and has been grown there since middle ages. Now it is planted all over the world including, Italy, Germany, eastern Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Washington and California.

Pinot Gris is a cool climate grape and is capable of producing various wine styles. It ripens relatively early and can produce anything from medium-bodied sweet wines to full-bodied alcoholic wines. Tasting notes may include hints of spice and honey.
