Nebbiolo is the queen of red grape varieties from Piemonte, northwest Italy. It presents red fruit flavours accompanied by floral and earthy notes; Nebbiolo ages well, developing vegetal and animal components (meat, mushroom, leather). It gives exceptional wines like Barolo and Barbaresco characterised by full-body, high tannins alcohol and acidity.
