Merlot

Merlot is used for blending as well as on its own. Its mainly grown in France, Italy, California, Romania and Australia. Notes - Softer and less tannic than Cabernet Sauvignon. Medium-bodied and well-rounded with notes of berry, plum and blackcurrant.
